Greenfield House

Greenfield House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 10 adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, some of whom also have physical disabilities, sensory impairments or dementia. At inspection, 7 people were using the service, with 5 living in the main building and 2 in a self-contained flat with its own kitchen and living room. People have access to communal areas and a sensory room.

Inspectors identified areas for improvement around environmental checks and timely completion of repairs where safety concerns existed. Ongoing refurbishment was underway in communal areas, and one person's bedroom needed redecorating to meet their sensory needs. The provider was considering reducing the maximum capacity, which would allow building changes aimed at helping residents achieve greater independence and better outcomes.
