Hayward Care Centre

Hayward Care Centre is a care home with nursing accommodating up to 80 people across three floors. Residents have their own rooms with access to communal spaces including bathrooms, dining rooms and lounges. The home features large gardens providing outdoor access.

However, medicines were not always managed safely. During June 2022, eight incidents occurred where people either did not receive their prescribed medicines or received lower doses than prescribed. One resident had no stock of their medicine and missed 14 doses due to a delay from the supplier. People did not always receive the medicines they had been prescribed.
