Ordinary Life Project Association - 12 Addington Close

Ordinary Life Project Association at 12 Addington Close is a residential care home providing personal care for up to three people with learning disabilities and dementia. At the time of inspection, two people were living at the home. Risk assessments were in place to protect residents from health and safety risks, and medicines were managed safely with regular reviews by a pharmacist to ensure continued effectiveness.

The home supported residents to pursue their interests and live healthier lives. One person attended music and singing group sessions outside the home, while another engaged in colouring activities. Both residents used an interactive media device to select music and sports content. The home also facilitated art group attendance for one resident, whose artwork was framed and displayed in the living room. Residents received three-monthly dementia progress appointments with a visiting healthcare professional.
