Haylands Residential Home for Gentlemen

Haylands Residential Home for Gentlemen is a residential care home that provides personal care for up to 24 people aged over 65, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 21 people were using the service, accommodated across three floors in an adapted building.

During the inspection, medication safety concerns were identified. Medication administration records had been completed incorrectly in several instances, and one person had not received their medication as prescribed. Care plans were not always updated to reflect changing risks for individuals, and there were gaps in recording accidents and incidents.
