Hawksbury House

Hawksbury House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 35 people, including older adults living with dementia. At inspection, 34 people were using the service.

While staffing levels were adequate, management did not always deploy staff effectively to ensure people's needs were met promptly. Some recruitment checks were not completed in line with requirements. Management oversight of infection prevention and control required improvement, with issues identified including PPE not stored correctly, broken bins in bathrooms, and restricted areas not locked.
