Relatives and staff described the home as good, though one staff member noted it was "having a bit of a rough patch" despite staff doing their best.

However, inspectors found that risk assessment systems were not always well managed, resulting in people being at risk of poor skin care and inadequate fluid intake. Incident reporting processes had not been used effectively to drive improvements, though recent changes had begun to address this. Staffing levels were stretched, with staff focused on completing tasks rather than providing more rounded care, and the home relied on agency staff to cover shortfalls.
