Grove Court

Grove Court provides personal and nursing care to up to 12 people with mental health support needs. At the time of inspection, nine people were using the service. Staff generally knew people well and demonstrated good familiarity with individual needs.

However, quality assurance systems were not always effective at identifying concerns or driving improvements to care quality and safety. Risk assessments were not consistently completed, potentially leaving people's health and wellbeing vulnerable. Medicines were not always managed safely, and some records were poorly completed. The home was undergoing refurbishment, and while cleanliness had improved in some areas, this work remained incomplete.
