About Grenville House

Grenville House is a residential care home based in Plymouth, offering a small and homely setting for those who call it home. The team there understands how important it is for families to feel confident and at ease when choosing the right place for their loved one. With its focus on personal care in a close-knit environment, Grenville House aims to provide a sense of belonging and stability for the people it supports.

Grenville House provides personal care and support for up to four people with learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of inspection, four people were living at the service. People who shared their views said they were happy living there, and relatives did not raise any concerns about the quality of care provided.

However, the service was not always operating in accordance with regulations and best practice guidance. People were not always supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, and staff practices in this area required improvement.
