Green Heys & Kemp Lodge Care Home

Green Heys and Kemp Lodge provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 75 people across two buildings, though only one was in use during inspection. At the time of the visit, 29 people were living at the home, some of whom were living with dementia.

Inspectors found that records relating to people's needs were not always completed accurately. Food and fluid charts lacked specific details about consumption amounts, which posed risks to some residents' safety. Risk assessments for bedrails also failed to thoroughly document or explore potential risks to certain people. The registered manager has since assured inspectors that these record-keeping issues have been mitigated.
