Byron Court Care Home

Byron Court is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 40 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 52 people. During the inspection period, the service implemented a cautious approach to admissions, pausing new residents until those testing positive for coronavirus had recovered, prioritizing the safety of existing residents and staff.

The home supported people and their relatives through isolation processes, helping to reduce loneliness through facilitated calls with friends and loved ones and dedicated one-to-one staff support. Residents at extreme risk and those isolating received personalized care tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
