Godolphin House Care Home supports up to 32 older people, with 26 residents at the time of inspection. The service maintains a relaxed atmosphere in communal spaces where people participate in a range of activities, including interaction with a resident dog that residents enjoy. Staff provided care with compassion and residents felt safe living there.

The service maintained safe staffing levels despite challenges in recruitment. Rotas demonstrated consistent achievement of appropriate staffing numbers, with adequate staff present on the day of inspection.
