Breage House is a care home that supports people with accommodation and personal care. Following management and staffing changes since the previous inspection, the service demonstrated significant improvements. Staff reported feeling better supported by managers, leading to more positive team dynamics that no longer negatively impacted residents.

Catering staff received training in understanding people's dietary needs, and staff showed improved knowledge in this area. The service successfully addressed all concerns identified at the previous inspection.

However, some issues with record-keeping and monitoring were noted during this inspection. Risk assessments were not consistently in place for all residents, medicine administration sheets contained gaps, and the service lacked formal monitoring systems for accidents and incidents. Despite these concerns, improvements across staffing, care quality, and dietary support resulted in the home's overall rating changing from Requires Improvement to Good.
