About Courtlands Care Home

Courtlands Care Home is a residential care home in Cornwall, providing personal care for older people, including those living with dementia. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Courtlands provides personal and nursing care for up to 35 people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 34 people were receiving support.

The service demonstrated thoughtful visitor arrangements, with a designated visitors room in an outbuilding allowing residents to meet friends and relatives without them entering the main building. When visitors needed access to the main building—for example during end of life care or for contractor visits—rigorous procedures were in place, including risk assessments completed before visits were arranged and requirements for visitors to wear masks.
