About Gilwood Lodge
Gilwood Lodge is a residential nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 47 people, some of whom live with dementia, mental health, physical or sensory impairments. The home has two floors with lift access to the first floor.
The registered manager assessed people's individual needs prior to admission. Individual risk assessments were in place to highlight areas of risk, though some gaps in information were identified. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives, with staff supporting them in decision-making.
