Park View Care Home with Nursing

Park View Care Home with Nursing provides residential and nursing care for up to 44 people across three floors with lift access. The home is situated in a residential area of South Shore, Blackpool, near shops and local amenities, and features lounges, a dining room, and a café/bar area on the ground floor, along with front and rear gardens. At the time of inspection, 30 people were living at the home.

Inspectors identified significant concerns about safety and management. Systems for managing medicines were found to be unsafe, placing people at risk of harm. Risk management for individuals was inconsistent, and staff training had not been maintained at appropriate levels. There was confusion among staff about roles and responsibilities, and management oversight of the service was ineffective. The home's systems for assessing, monitoring and improving the quality of care had not been operated effectively.
