Gilling Reane Care Home

Gilling Reane Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 33 older people, some living with dementia or physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment, 30 people were living there. Inspectors found the service had improved under new leadership and is now rated good overall, having moved on from an earlier requires improvement rating.

People felt safe, well cared for and treated with kindness and dignity, with staff who knew them well and supported their independence. Minor issues with environmental risks, medicines management and quality monitoring were identified, but the provider and manager addressed these promptly during the assessment.
