Fauld House Nursing Home

Fauld House Nursing Home provides nursing care for people with a range of health needs. The CQC found a good, positive culture where people felt safe and staff knew how to recognise and report concerns. Risks were managed well, staff were recruited safely and trained appropriately, and health professionals were involved to support people's wellbeing.

The home was clean and infection control was well managed.

Inspectors found staff respected people's consent and choices, and meaningful activities and compassionate end of life care were provided. The management team were visible and supported staff development. Minor improvements were needed to medicines management and some governance aspects.
