Poplars Nursing and Residential Care Home

Poplars Nursing and Residential Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 60 people, including those with nursing needs, in an adapted building over two floors with several communal lounges. At the time of the assessment, 54 people aged 65 and over were living there.

The CQC found the home was performing well overall and rated it Good. Risks were managed safely, staffing levels and training were adequate, and the environment was clean and safe. However, leadership required improvement, and feedback from people about their involvement in managing risk and about staff's caring approach was mixed.
