Grosvenor House

Grosvenor House is a small residential care home providing 24-hour support for up to six people with a learning disability, physical disabilities and other complex needs. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement from the previous Requires Improvement rating, after finding that earlier breaches around safe care, consent, person-centred care and governance had been resolved.

Inspectors found a calm, person-centred culture, with confident staff who managed risks well and handled medicines safely. People said they felt safe and well cared for, praised staff kindness, and enjoyed varied meals suited to their needs. Communication support for people who did not use words was described as thoughtful and effective.
