Elsenham House

Elsenham House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 36 people with complex mental health conditions, including those with dual diagnoses of mental health conditions and learning disabilities or autism. At inspection, 26 people were using the service, accommodated across five houses in two separate blocks with shared communal kitchens, bathrooms, living and dining areas. The outside garden was accessible from each block.

Inspectors identified significant concerns with medicines management, finding that medicines were not always managed safely, putting people at risk. The service also needed improvements in protecting people from infection and in managing residents' money safely.
