Elm Park Care Home

Elm Park is a purpose-built care home on the outskirts of Doncaster providing residential and nursing care for up to 100 people, with 90 residents at the time of inspection. The home includes a dedicated unit on the first floor for people living with dementia. The management team and staff understood their roles and responsibilities, and the provider and registered manager actively used feedback to improve the service.

While some monitoring systems were not always effective and initial audits had not identified all concerns found during inspection, issues were addressed swiftly. Some areas required a deep clean on the first day of inspection, though the service was clean and tidy by the second day. New systems and approaches needed embedding into practice. People and their relatives were complimentary about the home.
