Edgemont View Nursing Home

Edgemont is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to up to 21 people aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, the service was caring for 18 residents.

Relatives reported that safe infection control procedures were in place and praised the responsiveness of staff, with one commenting that "staff come straight away when asked" and another noting "there has always been staff around to ask questions." While relatives occasionally felt more staff were needed on individual occasions, they understood this reflected wider sector challenges rather than a general concern. Overall, relatives raised no concerns about the quality of care provided and felt people were well cared for.
