Deer Lodge

Deer Lodge accommodates up to 14 older people, including those with dementia diagnoses. The service was operating at full capacity during inspection. Residents and their relatives described the home as a safe environment where staff provide attentive care and understand safeguarding procedures. There are sufficient staffed members employed following robust recruitment practices, and individual risk assessments identify appropriate safety measures. Staff receive training to safely support people with their medicines, and the home maintains appropriate infection control procedures. Family and friends are welcomed to visit.
