Homemead accommodates up to 30 older people, including those living with dementia, in one adapted building. At inspection, 23 people were using the service. People, relatives and staff described the home as a safe place to live.

Risks were regularly assessed and reviewed, enabling people to take acceptable risks while enjoying life safely. Safeguarding concerns, accidents and incidents were appropriately reported, investigated and recorded.

The home had sufficient staffing levels to support people and meet their needs. Staff were appropriately recruited and received training including safe medicine administration. The service used Personal Assistant technology to support care delivery.
