Darland House provides accommodation and nursing care for up to 40 people across two floors divided into four separate living areas, each with their own communal rooms. At the time of inspection, one of the 10-bedded living areas on the second floor was being used as a designated setting, with 10 people being cared for there. One person had recently been admitted with COVID-19, while the other nine residents were free from infection having recovered from the illness.

Inspectors observed examples of good practice during their visit.
