Byron Lodge Care Home provides residential accommodation and nursing or personal care for up to 28 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 25 people were using the service, with 16 people receiving bed-based care.

Inspectors found significant safety concerns. Risk assessments lacked sufficient information to keep people safe, and risks to people's safety had not always been identified. Medicines management was poor, with the provider unable to assure that people had received their medicines as prescribed. Some areas of the service were not clean.
