Dalemead Care Home provides residential care for up to 49 people, most of whom were older people living with dementia. This was a focused inspection prompted by concerns about management, and the CQC rated the home Good overall, though it found improvements were needed in monitoring staff training and understanding when to submit statutory notifications.

Inspectors found people were treated as individuals, supported to pursue hobbies and interests, and given real choice and control. Staff were described as kind, attentive and skilled communicators, and families and professionals praised the organised, personalised care. Residents said they felt happy and well looked after.
