Nightingale House provides nursing and personal care for up to 21 older people, including those with dementia, in a single building. At inspection, 17 people were using the service. People, relatives and staff described it as a safe place to live and work.

Risk assessments were regularly reviewed, enabling residents to take acceptable risks while remaining safe. The home appropriately recorded and investigated accidents, incidents and safeguarding concerns.

The home maintained sufficient staff numbers to meet people's needs. Staff were properly trained to administer medicines safely and prompt people to take them as prescribed. The home used appropriate personal protection measures to keep people safe.
