Curtis Weston House is a residential care home providing personal care to 26 younger and older adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia, mental health needs, learning disabilities, or autistic spectrum disorder. The home accommodates up to 44 people across two floors, each with separate adapted facilities. Inspectors found that quality assurance systems were not always effective in identifying gaps in information, and care plans lacked sufficient detail about people's preferences for how they wished to be cared for and supported. Staff needed more comprehensive documentation to ensure they were fully aware of individuals' care preferences and could deliver person-centred support.
