Cumberland House

Cumberland House is a residential care home providing personal care to older people living with mental health needs, including those with anxiety, depression, and support needs relating to drug or alcohol dependence. The service supports up to 14 people, with nine residents living there at the time of inspection. People living at the home regularly go out independently for walks and visits. Staff implement a robust testing regime for residents returning home to minimise infection risk. Staff also spend considerable time reassuring people whose anxiety has increased, explaining guidance and providing emotional support through conversation.
