Crumble Cottage

Inspectors found people lived in a family home well integrated into the local community, with good access to amenities and transport, and received kind, person-centred support from caring staff.

Inspectors did identify some concerns, including gaps in pre-employment checks and environmental risks such as missing window restrictors and radiator covers, which the registered manager addressed promptly. Governance systems were not always effective at spotting such issues, leading to a Requires Improvement rating for leadership. Relatives described the home as happy and welcoming, feeling well involved in their family member's care.
