The Pleasance

The Pleasance is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 15 people with learning disabilities and autistic people. The service operates across five separate houses on one site, each containing individual flats with communal living spaces and enclosed gardens. At the time of inspection, 13 people were using the service.

The care environment was safe, clean and secure. People were involved in planning their care and activities, with care tailored to individual needs. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, and the provider had made improvements following previous inspection recommendations.
