Broomhouse Mews

Broomhouse Mews is a residential care home supporting a small number of younger adults, including people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding people well supported, safe and involved in decisions about their care. Staff were described as kind and knowledgeable, medicines were managed properly, and people were encouraged towards independence and meaningful activities.

Inspectors did identify some areas needing attention, including weaknesses in legionella checks and related policies, and financial monitoring systems that were not sufficiently robust, though no actual issues were found. Relatives and residents spoke positively about staff relationships and the approachable registered manager, describing the home as clean, well maintained and responsive to individual needs.
