Cromwell Court

Cromwell Court provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 67 younger and older adults and people living with dementia. At inspection, 64 people were resident at the home. People receive care centred around their support needs, with areas of risk routinely managed. An electronic care planning system ensures people's care reviews are completed in a timely manner and staff respond when further risks are identified. One relative said, "Most definitely [person] is kept safe because of the care [they] receive, you have a feel for a place, they [staff] are all amazing." An external healthcare professional confirmed that staff knew people well and there were no concerns around the provision of care.

Safe medication arrangements are in place, with staff fully trained in medication administration. Safeguarding and whistleblowing procedures are established, and staff are supported with necessary training and know how to raise concerns. Another relative stated, "I do think [person] is safe, can't stress to you how much we feel that [person] is safe, clean and happy." Overall governance and quality assurance measures are in place, although further improvements to documentation and record completion are required.
