Summerville Care Home

Summerville Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 45 people, including nursing support, and was caring for 37 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the home good overall, finding a strong learning culture, effective safeguarding, good infection control and coordinated, person-centred care with other professionals.

Inspectors did note some concerns: medicines management needed improvement, and some staff felt there were not enough people on duty, affecting morale. Management addressed these issues promptly. People and relatives told inspectors they felt safe, well cared for, and that the home was clean and well communicated with.
