Court House Retirement Home

Court House Retirement Home provides personal care to 23 people aged 65 and over across three separate properties: a converted main house, self-contained courtyard units, and a converted cottage. The service can accommodate up to 29 residents.

Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives in the least restrictive way possible. People were actively involved in deciding on activities and lifestyle within the home. The provider operated a robust recruitment programme and staff received training in recognising abuse and safeguarding. Medicine management was safe, with people supported to maintain control over their own medications if they wished. There were sufficient staff to provide safe care and to spend time chatting with residents and participating in activities.
