Mendip Lodge

Mendip Lodge provides personal care for up to 16 older people, some living with dementia, in an adapted building with individual bedrooms, communal spaces and an accessible outdoor area. At inspection, all 16 places were occupied.

People using the service and their relatives spoke positively about their experience, telling inspectors they felt safe with the staff supporting them. However, while systems were in place to assess risks to residents, inspectors found some examples where risks had not been sufficiently assessed or documented.
