Colliers Croft Care Home

Colliers Croft Care Home accommodates up to 62 people requiring assistance with personal care, including some with dementia. At inspection, 58 people lived at the service. The home maintained high standards of cleanliness with regular cleaning schedules completed by housekeeping staff. Staff had received training in infection prevention and control and were observed following current guidance for PPE use and disposal. The registered manager conducted regular spot checks on staff practice, and systems were in place to support regular COVID-19 testing for staff and residents, alongside vaccination programmes.

Family members spoke positively about the care provided. One relative stated: "I cannot fault them. [Relative] is so well-looked after. We get updated all of the time. They have done the best they can to keep everyone safe." The registered manager and staff maintained regular communication with families about important changes and kept them informed throughout challenging periods. People were actively supported to maintain contact with family members through visits and other forms of communication, with systems in place to prevent the spread of infections during these visits.
