Garswood House Residential Care Home

Garswood House is a large purpose-built care home on the outskirts of Ashton in Makerfield, providing care and support for up to 53 people. At inspection, 49 people were using the service. The premises were clean and well-maintained, with staff following robust cleaning schedules monitored by the registered manager. Staff appropriately used personal protective equipment, changing it regularly between supporting different people, with daily monitoring by the registered manager. COVID-19 tests were being carried out in line with good practice guidance, and risk assessments had been completed.
