Coalway Lane

Coalway Lane is a nursing home providing care and treatment for up to 20 people with mental health difficulties, supporting them to manage crises and work towards independent living. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding it well-led with a strong culture of person-centred, non-judgemental care.

Inspectors found staff understood people's needs and managed risks effectively, with thorough assessments and a robust induction and training programme. People and relatives spoke positively about the support received, feeling safe, respected and involved in decisions about their care. Leaders were visible and responsive, and quality assurance systems were used to drive continuous improvement.
