Chestnut House provides personal and nursing care to up to 33 people with mental health issues and learning difficulties. The service comprises a main house accommodating 18 people and seven separate flats housing 14 people, allowing residents to live as independently as possible. Staff know residents' needs well and have appropriate training for their roles.

People live in a safe environment with assessed and managed risks that protect them from abuse while maintaining their independence. The home manages medicines well and protects residents from infection. Nutritional and health needs are well managed, and the environment is well maintained.

The service supports residents to live meaningful lives with control, choice, and independence through planned, person-centred care that is appropriate and inclusive.
