Chaucer House

Chaucer House is a large, purpose-built nursing home near Canterbury city centre accommodating up to 60 people. The service is split across two dedicated floors: one specialising in dementia care and the other in nursing support. It provides personal and nursing care to people with physical disabilities, sensory impairment, and dementia, with 45 residents using the service at the time of inspection. Each floor has separate adapted facilities tailored to its specific focus.

Staff demonstrated knowledge of keeping people safe, and recruitment practices were conducted securely. The home maintains appropriate staffing arrangements to support its residents' care needs.
