Charters Court Nursing and Residential Home

Charters Court Nursing and Residential Home provides personal and nursing care to older people aged over 65 in East Grinstead. At inspection, 40 residents lived in the four suites, with capacity for up to 60 people. Many residents require support due to physical and health needs, with some also living with dementia.

Staff knew residents well and protected them from abuse and neglect, providing safe support with medicines. People received care and support tailored to their individual needs and were protected from avoidable harm. The manager ensured lessons were learned following any adverse events to prevent future incidents. Both residents and staff confirmed there were enough staff on duty to provide safe and timely care.
