Charlotte House

This care home provides nursing care for up to 60 older people, including those living with dementia and those receiving end-of-life care. At the time of inspection, 47 people were resident. Inspectors identified gaps in how the home managed risks, particularly around medicines management, infection prevention and control, and safe storage of cleaning products. The provider took action following the inspection to address these issues and strengthen monitoring systems.

People living at the home reported feeling safe and well cared for, expressing satisfaction with the staff. Relatives were also happy with the care provided. Residents felt their choices were respected and had a say in decisions affecting them. The home had suitable systems in place for managing safeguarding alerts, accidents, complaints, and incidents, with staff using these experiences to prevent future occurrences.
