Maryville Care Home

Maryville Care Home provides nursing care for up to 39 older people, including those from the Catholic faith community and other faith groups. At the time of assessment, 38 people were living there. The CQC rated the home Good overall.

Inspectors found some shortfalls: staffing levels were not always sufficient, audits did not consistently identify problems, and guidance for staff on managing medical conditions and infection control needed improvement. However, people and relatives spoke positively about kind, caring staff, enjoyable activities, and involvement in care planning. Medicines were managed safely, and recruitment processes were sound.
