Chapel Lodge

Chapel Lodge provides accommodation and personal care for up to 23 older people, with 19 residents living there at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated strong infection control practices, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining safe hand hygiene throughout the home. Enhanced cleaning was carried out several times daily, with PPE and hand sanitisation points positioned throughout the building. The home had clear processes for managing visitor access, including symptom screening and requirements for PPE use during visits. During the inspection, the provider was supporting residents to maintain contact with family and friends through window visits, video calls, and telephone conversations.
