About Cedars Care Home

Cedars Care Home is a residential care home in Doncaster, offering care for older people and those living with dementia across two buildings. Details of the most recent CQC inspection are set out below.

The service provides residential care for older people and those living with dementia across two buildings, Cedars Lodge and Cedars House, accommodating up to 66 residents. At inspection, 60 people were using the service.

While staffing levels were adequate to meet people's basic needs, residents, relatives and staff reported that staff lacked sufficient time to provide meaningful activities. The inspection team recommended the service assess how staff are deployed to better support engagement and quality of life. Infection prevention and control measures were properly implemented, and people were protected from harm.

Staff demonstrated awareness of how to report concerns and felt comfortable raising issues.
