The CQC found that overall the service requires improvement, with shortfalls in safeguarding, risk assessment and medicines records. Quality assurance checks had not picked up these issues, and inspectors identified a breach of regulation relating to safeguarding.

Inspectors also found strengths: staff were well-trained, knowledgeable and followed care plans closely, and the home was well-staffed. People and relatives spoke positively about the quality of care and nursing, and praised the registered manager, who acted promptly to address the concerns raised.
