The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage is a residential care home supporting up to 30 people with personal and nursing care. It provides accommodation for people with physical disabilities, mental health support needs, and older people including those living with dementia. At inspection, 15 people were using the service across three floors, with two floors in active use.

The home has made significant improvements since the last inspection, with a new manager in post since November 2022. Staff and residents reported positive feedback about the management and ongoing improvements. The provider has implemented effective monitoring systems and quality checks, and is working towards an improvement plan with stakeholders. Where safety or experience issues were identified, action was taken promptly. People and staff have opportunities to be engaged in running the service and feel listened to.
