Caroline House

Caroline House provides residential care for up to 28 older people living with dementia, mental health needs and sensory impairment. The accommodation spans two floors, connected by stairs and a lift. During inspection, 21 people were residing at the home.

The service has governance systems in place to drive improvement. However, inspectors identified areas needing development to ensure people's safety and wellbeing. Record keeping regarding some people's hydration support lacked clarity and accuracy. Environmental audits failed to identify two radiators that were hot to touch and uncovered, creating a safety risk.
